Esther English — Counsellor in Warwick, Perth’s Northern Suburbs
Women’s Mental Health · Pregnancy · Postpartum · Motherhood
Registered Counsellor · Member, Australian Counselling Association (ACA) · Diploma of Counselling

Esther English is a registered counsellor based in Warwick, Perth’s northern suburbs, with a deep and personal commitment to supporting women through the emotional complexity of pregnancy, early motherhood, and the quiet identity shifts that so often arrive with it.
Her passion for this work isn’t theoretical. Esther has lived the seasons she now supports women through — the joy and the weight of it, the moments that don’t match the picture you had in your mind, and the particular loneliness of feeling lost while the world sees someone who is holding it all together.
She knows what it feels like to love your children completely and still grieve parts of yourself. She understands the gap between what you thought this would feel like and what it actually does. And she knows how rarely women are given permission to say that out loud.
That lived understanding shapes everything about the way Esther works.
Esther also supports women navigating mental health, identity, and wellbeing at any stage of life — not only through pregnancy and motherhood.
A Space Where You Don’t Have to Explain Yourself
Many of the women Esther supports aren’t in crisis. They’re functioning. They’re showing up. They’re doing all the things. But something feels quietly off — a low hum of overwhelm, a creeping loss of themselves, a version of themselves they can’t quite find anymore.
They come to counselling not because they’ve broken down, but because they’re tired of carrying it alone.
Esther’s approach is gentle, unhurried, and genuinely warm. She doesn’t come with a checklist or an agenda. She creates a space where you can say the things you haven’t felt safe saying elsewhere — without judgement, without being told how to feel, and without being rushed toward an answer.
As one recent client shared:
“Esther has an intelligent, kind and nurturing approach… she will gently hold space and make you feel seen and heard.”
